In April, Erasmus+ Group, together with other Sucha Beskidzka students, went on two interesting field trips, which gave them a chance to increase their knowledge about the radio and the sound. The trips were an important part of the School Radio Waves, as they disseminated both the project and Erasmus+ programme at a national level. In addition, they contributed to the project’s sustainability due to the fact that also younger students, who will work with the school radio in the future, were the trip’s participants.
On the 10th April, a group of 36 Sucha Beskidzka students and three teachers went to Katowice, the capital city of Silesia region. They visited TV Silesia and Radio Katowice. Wojciech Skowroński, a famous radio journalist, gave them a chance to say their greetings and to promote our project during a live broadcast!
Then, on the 14th April, the group went to Cracow, where they visited Radio Pryzmat and took part in interesting workshops. At first, they had voice emission lesson, then they learned a lot about the latest media devices and finally they had a chance to prepare their own programme, which was broadcast on the 4th May.
